Mentorship Holiday Party

Mentors, young leaders, and staff gathered at the Trico Changemakers Studio on the evening of Friday, December 14th to celebrate the holidays. There was a holiday-themed human bingo, to encourage mingling, pom-pom crafts, and a gift swap. We were surprised to see all the young people connected to the program fight over the glassware set in the gift swap – who knew that gift would be such a hit!

After enjoying some stew and bannock, we had a gingerbread house contest. There were five teams but only one winner, though it was a tough decision, which led the judges to play rock, paper, scissors as a tiebreaker. In the end the “fancy” design won.

There were about 25 people in attendance, including a couple of students who dropped in after writing an exam.

We are hoping to continue the great turnouts we have had in November and December into the new year and wish everyone in the program all the best in 2019.
