Siksika Employment and Training Services (SETS) alongside Canada Bridges completed the in-class portion of our 6th Meaningful Futures Program in November. This program was created for youth and young adults who were eager to create change for their future and pursue a path such as upgrading, post-secondary or finding an exciting career. This year we accepted 10 young people into the program for a 6 week in-class portion and a 3-month paid work experience. We had 9 participants successfully complete the program and gain work experience within their community. The group toured universities in Calgary, visited the Glenbow museum and were invited for a one day visit and learning opportunity at Suncor’s downtown office – some made it up to the 52 floor!! Congratulations to all of the participants for showing up everyday, putting your heart into the work and creating positive change for yourselves! You are awesome!!
