Indigenous Rising Treaty 7 is an initiative shaped by Indigenous youth leaders from communities throughout Treaty 7, providing space and opportunity to make ideas and projects happen.

A lot of us might be feeling the loss of connection due to the recent current events and we want to open up space to chat about these things and share the new wisdoms we've gained through this year. 

The day left a conversation within my inner self, how can I respond to the western world in a more meaningful and impactful way with my culture and traditions. My late elders would always encourage me to respond with respect and clarity.

The main purpose of this film is to inspire Indigenous youth across Alberta, possibly Canada! Being an Indigenous young adult is challenging, not to mention the obstacles that youth are facing

I’ve asked several people in the community and neighboring nations on what they’ve been doing to stay positive at home during this lockdown due to Covid-19. I prepared 3 simple questions and sent it to those who were open to sharing their response.
